Discovering your passion

Discovering your passion

I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

I’ve never forgotten to stress the importance of entrepreneurship to anyone I meet these days. Unfortunately, in this busy world, the future only belongs to entrepreneurs. Many do not realize that to become an entrepreneur you don’t need a lot of experience or money. Entrepreneurship is a skill that you can develop even while you work or even when you babysit.

Entrepreneurship is the future

Entrepreneurship is the most commonly misunderstood word which is often misinterpreted as business. Many people in India, at least those whom I’ve met does not seem to be interested in entrepreneurship for the fear of not making profits. Although entrepreneurship is the activity of setting up a business, it is not the business itself.

Interest Vs Passion

You can have many interests. Interests are not the same as your passion. You may be interested in painting, drawing, playing, programming, designing and even more. Your passion is what describes you. Out of all these interests, your passion could be painting. You will start feeling a strong emotion towards painting and that is when you know that is your passion, not just your interest.

When you have a passion, you may not be able to resist doing that. It is a barely controllable emotion that keeps you doing your passion consistently.

Passion and Entrepreneurship

Discovering your passion is the most important thing someone could have done in their lives. Entrepreneurship starts with a passion for something. This passion of your’s can then be made into a self sustainable life, we call a business. I don’t believe in overnight success. You may not be able to turn your passion into a business on day one. You would carefully nurture your passion until it can become a viable business.

Never underestimate the power of small things. You may just have a passion to draw. But you never know how big an idea your passion can turn into. Successful entrepreneurs have always established the fact that they solve big problems with very simple things that they were passionate about.

If you ever wanted to do something on your own, now is the time to stop worrying about what you can and can not do. Just discover you passion, nurture it and you will soon see yourself in a position to solve a big problem for the society, thus making a viable business out of your passion!

I greatly value your feedback!
